Welcome! Bhavalaya Bhajan UK is a self-sufficient independent organization. Our programs are meant for the whole family with any background and keen to make their family members the best, grow them to live with faith in God and devotion. This group is a special group who dedicate and engage in developing and singing bhajans. Joining Bhavalaya is not by voluntary. It is by invitation only depending on the interest and skills shown by the individual.
The Bhavalaya Bhajan is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to the spiritual progress of Hindus in UK through education (Jnana), devotion (Bhakti) and service (Seva). It is the Centre’s belief that head, heart and hand must be harmonized for spiritual progress to take place. In view of this, Bhavalaya Bhajan programmes and activities are organized and conducted for the purpose of enabling members to learn and become more informed about the basic philosophies and tenets of the Hindu faith, deepening and intensifying their sadhana or spiritual practice, while at the same time creating opportunities to engage in seva or service.
Bhavalaya Bhajan was formed on May 2015 and inaugurated by H H Swamini Pramananda (affectionately known as Ammaji). Swamini Pramananda is a Vedanta teacher as well as a Sanskrit scholar. Some months before this event, a group of concerned and dedicated Hindu professional, businessmen and academics met to decide on the formation of Bhavalaya UK. These pioneers had found that whilst temples were mainly dedicated to rituals and religious activities, no attempts were being made to explain these ancient mystical rituals to the young who wanted to know their religion. The lack of answers and guidance to the Hindu youths frustrated them and made them easy targets for evangelists and proselytizing groups. Thus, the founding fathers and pioneers of Bhavalaya UK knew that the prime objective of Bhavalaya UK should be spiritual education for the Hindu youths through Bhakti Music.

SAMPRADAYIC & DEDICATE
We are the first Bhajan Group in UK started based on Dakshina Samprdaya Bhajan. It is the tradition of Bhajans in India and as the name suggests particularly in South India. It’s the collection of Kirtanas and Namavalis in specific order. Mainly the order has been evolved by Sri Marudhanallur Sadguru Swamigal, Sri Pudukottai Gopala Krishna Bhagavathar.
The trinity of gurus as far as Sampradaya Bhajans are considered 1. Bodhendra Swamigal 2. Sridhara Ayyaval 3. Marudhanallur Sadguru Swamigal. The sampradaya bhajana paddhati has mainly evolved due to the tradition and efforts of Marudhanallur Sadguru Swamigal.
